Sometimes, the angle makes all the difference. My visit to Mount Rainier National Park was a bit early in the summer season. There was snow still on the ground in many locations, and some trails were still impassible. At Narada Falls, the pathway to the bottom of the falls was slick and muddy, but the careful trek to this midway point was well worth the hazard. The falls was full of rushing water, and at just the right viewing angle with the sun high in the sky, the mist from the falls created a fantastic rainbow angled against the opposing cliff face.
