Yesterday, I mentioned that my Dad and I were enthralled with photographing a waterfalls along our drive east from Tellico Plains into the Cherokee National Forest. Landscape photography can often feel impersonal and distant because it lacks a human element. This particular photograph is one of my favorites from this location, because I managed to capture an intimate moment between a very young couple, albeit from a far distance. To my eye, the beauty of this landscape is enhanced because I can see it more sharply through the lens of first love.
